Troy began with Precision Construction as a Union Carpenter and worked his way up to being a Project Manager. In 2004, he became the firm’s Executive Officer and President.
He takes an active role during each phase of construction and on every project he helps define and refine the scope, strategy, schedule and budget. Troy stresses continued emphasis on safety and quality control to ensure team members understand their commitments.
Paul brings to the table extensive construction and management experience. He has hands-on experience managing large scale projects, and specializes in high-end finish work. As a successful estimator and project manager, Paul understands the impact of strong leadership and has the ability to keep tight reins on construction costs . He has an excellent relationship and reputation within the subcontractor community thus ensuring accurate bids and the highest quality services and materials.
Mike brings to the table nearly 20 yrs of construction and management experience. He has worked in all phases of construction both on the jobsite and in administration, and understands the valued impact of strong leadership on every project. As a manager overseeing complicated projects, particularly our design-build work, Mike has a track record of directing projects to final completion while keeping tight reins on construction costs.
Lukas has broad construction and management experience and has worked in nearly all phases of construction. After earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, Lukas began his career at an engineering consulting firm in Washington D.C. He later moved back in Portland to work as a Project Manager and Building Science Consultant at a construction defect litigation and construction consulting firm.
During his career he gained extensive experience working as an Engineer in Training under licensed engineers and also became an expert in building science: roofs (flat and sloped), site drainage, building facades and cladding systems, windows, balconies, pavement, leak evaluation, above and below grade waterproofing, etc. His management roles have required him to provide project management services throughout all phases of construction; from investigation/pre-construction to design to bidding through construction. This broad background has given Lukas a unique perspective for his role now as a Project Manager for a general contractor; this has led to excellent outcomes on complex projects.
Estimator & Project Engineer
Ben is the liaison between the project manager and the technical disciplines involved in a project. His responsibilities include schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project. He assures the accuracy of financial forecasts, which tie-in to the project schedule, and ensures the project is completed according to project plans.
Loyce has worked in the field as an office manager for Hoffman Construction and Precision for 23 years. She has been a mentor to many of our office managers, and is currently involved in implementing and coordinating office manager procedures and best practices. Loyce has managed many projects on her own and with the assistance of support staff. She has excellent communication skills and maintains a professional and positive relationship with both owners and subcontractors.
Ryan began his construction career as residential carpenter for housing developments and apartment complexes. He then transitioned into excavation, heavy equipment and pipe laying for housing subdivisions as a heavy machine operator and laborer. From there he moved into commercial framing and was lead carpenter for six years. Ryan began at Precision Construction as carpenter and quickly moved into a supervisory role as team lead, and then became a superintendent. He has worked in all phases of construction, from drywall to electrical, and plumbing. He has an eye for quality control, making that his number one priority on his projects.
Nolan began his construction career working at a local Portland cabinet shop where he gained valuable carpentry skills and eventually moved on to Plant Manager to supervise over 100 employees. Since he began with Precision Construction as a Site Superintendent, Nolan has overseen multiple projects ranging from high-rise condo build-outs to large commercial tenant improvements. He has participated in all phases of construction and has proven his ability to keep construction goals on track.
Jay has been in construction for 21 years and began his career as a carpenter, quickly moving on to managing larger and more complex projects. Since he began with Precision Construction as a Superintendent, Jay has overseen multiple projects ranging from large commercial tenant improvements to mechanical overhauls and structural upgrades. He has participated in all phases of construction and has proven his ability to keep construction goals on track even when working with sensitive budgets, aggressive schedules and complicated construction sequencing.
Dan has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. As a seasoned construction manager and superintendent, he has expertise in all phases of construction, from single and multi-family residential, commercial, restoration and renovations, environmental remediation, remodels to demolition projects. He has extensive experience remediation for water intrusion in older structures. Dan has proven his ability to keep construction goals on track even when working with sensitive budgets, aggressive schedules and complicated construction sequencing.
With 25 years as a carpenter, Casey’s experience includes concrete forming, rough framing, finish carpentry, stair building and cabinet installation. He also has been a lead carpenter and site superintendent for many small to mid-sized jobs, running his crew and coordinating with subcontractors and owners.
